I'm not sure if sometimes having a slightly pink eye is a health issue for cats or cat- cat conjunctivitis.

Her eye isn't always pink, just sometimes they are pink while sometimes it's normal.. I'm confused. Can anyone help me??

Pink eye is really just an infection of the eye. Most cat related eye problems are from the herpes virus and it is very common and spreads easily. It doesn't spread  to humans, so don't worry, and is as common to cats as the cold is to us. It usually results  in a watery discharge from the eye and is accompanied most of the time with an upper respiratory infection. It is usually viral, so it has to run it's course, unless it turns into something bacterial secondarily and can then be treated with an antibiotic. L-Lysine is the thing to give, it builds up the immune system and helps them fight the infection. I get treats from Amazon so it is easy to give. All the luck!

This may sound like a stupid question but In pink eye is her eye suppose to be pink?
Because her eye isn't pink. The areas round her eye is usually pink when she wakes up then it goes away after a while.

That's a picture of her eyes right after she woke up. Notice how the area around her eye is pink- not inside her eyes.
Is that normal??
