I adopted my kitty Boots from the shelter at 8 weeks, the mom was placed there while pregnant but I didn't meet the mom or my kitties siblings. Boots is about 9 months and is female. We feel she is huge compared to other cats our friends have who are the same age, and I feel like she could possibly be part Maine coon because of the tips on her ears and her size. Her coat isn't too long but she's fluffy and insanely soft.

Taken at the face value, she is a sweet and nicely shaped, but quite common shorthair domestic, striped tabby.  The only  unusual is possibly the size.

But after all, a Maine coon mated with a shorthair, will give a clone of her.  Shorthaired, and tabby - as longhair gene is recessive, but tabby is dominant...  And the descendant would probably be big over average, tabby and shorthair..

So, please help yourself if you so wish.    :)      If its important for you to call her "a possible mix from a MCO", so do so.    :)

Good luck!

ps.   Luck I had just had my afternoon-tea-meal, otherwise I would eat her as she is, not needing any sauce nor salt.  She is that sweet!
