I have a cat named Paris. I'm not sure exactly how old she is because she was found but she's under a year old .so this morning my mom noticed that she was acting unusual, she was laying by the bathtub and she doesn't usually do this. she usually runs around the house I acting energetic and crazy with the other Cat. We've also noticed that her third eyelid is showing, I didn't know it was until I searched it up today but I can't find very good information .I'm so worried because she is eating but she's not drinking and she's been limping all the time when she gets up she is also Slightly wobbly and can't keep her balance ( when she walks after a bit ) . She does try to play with her toys but after a while she stops because I guess it's hurting her and then she goes back to laying down & her eyes go back to looking bad. I'm so scared for her because I love her so much and unfortunately we are low on money and can't bring her to the vet anytime soon. please help guys!

Ps. Sometimes her head goes down if I try to lift it up , think it's because she's lazy and won't get up but I don't know :(

Could she have gotten hurt somewhere in your house? Falling off something? Crashing into something? Have you seen her pee? She does need a vet to look at her. Can you look to see if there is a humane society near you? The exam cost is usually very reasonable and if you tell them it's an emergency they can get you in.

No she isn't an outdoor cat , but sometimes she digs in the trash can in our house . I don't think there's anythig that could've poisoned Her but maybe some bad food ? but we get her out as soon as she goes in and tells her no .

But right now , she's up and walking around which is an improvement . But her 3rd eyelid is still visible .

No I haven't seen her pee at all today . but sometimes , due to her being a very playful and energetic cat , she jumps from tables and counters and sometimes She falls , but it never seems to have an effect . She just brushes it off like nothing and keeps playing .

Yeah I understand but we really can't afford it now a. I don't know if maybe I should start a gofundme to help out , but I'm not sure yet .... I just really want my baby to be safe . Right now Shes up and moving and drank some water . If it continues for a few days , we will go to the local vet and see if they can help us out . I will update on her later or Tmm morning . praying that she'll get better [emoji]10084[/emoji]️

I'm starting to be less stressed out about it and my hopes are slowly climbing . The 3rd eyelid in both eyes are gone ( except for the tiny bit it always shows ) and she's seeming happier . she's eating a lot more and starting to be more interactive with the other cat ( Bella) . hope she stays this way for the rest of the night and then some . If anything , I'll let you know . Again, thankyou so much for answering :):rbheart:

Yeah just keep her comfortable as best you can and absolutely keep any stress to a minimum.    Cats have a great deal of ability to heal themselves hence 9 lives.

You will need to see that she eats.   I would suggest adding water to her food to make it mushy so it is easy for her to lap it up.   That will help to keep her hydrated also.

If she isnt eating on her own let us know

Okay I definetly will . She just ate some dry food , but now I'll add some water , for when she eats again.
