Which canned food is NOT pate?

If you can post any pictures of the actual food it will be appreciated.

Mosimom,

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but I think Dave's is all pate. If it doesn't say otherwise on its label, my findings are that it's pate. Brands will indicate it on their label if it isn't. Examples include Nature's Variety Pride canned cat foods (either shredded or minced), or Merrick also has some in other textures like little chunks if you read their label. I also use Tiki Cat in chicken flavors, which are shredded chicken in some broth which look very close to human grade food!

Hope others add on more suggestions if other brands besides Dave's is ok with you.

Good luck!

On the can it should tell you if it's pate or not.

My cat liked the taste of the Dave's turkey/salmon, but not the texture. It didn't say pate, but it is. Darn.
Was hoping there were cubed or chunk options.

What does it mean he liked the taste not the texture, did he eat it or not?
