I boughta bottle of this for my cat and im just curious if anyone has used it before? I dont know if its asthma or herpes or what it could be. Hes been to the vet we have done antibiotics 5 times now various kinds, nose drops, little noses...everything (explained in another thread). Just wanting to eliviate his congested symptom. Again newtons homeopathic cough and asthma for pets. Any advice or knowledge is appreciated.

Have you tried L-Lysine?  I have a herd of cats (six) who all have FHV and not all of them require the same dosage.  Two of them only need the lysine on rare occasions.  It really depends on the cat and how severe the infection is.

Get a quality brand with limited fillers; I like Jarrow.  Luckily, L-Lysine is relatively cheap.

I've cared for a FHV+ feral who was coughing and losing weight.  The l-lysine got him back into ship shape in a matter of days.

Best wishes!

Look at AmazaPet

Read the reviews and ask your vet about it.

For congestion, you can ask the vet for eye/nose drops.  We use tobramycin with our girl.  You can also try running a vaporizer or steaming in the bathroom throughout the day.

I have done all of the above and none was working. Tonight he seemed to be having trouble seeing and I've kinda panicked. He was put on orbifloxacin to combat any infection he might be having. I've posted earlier giving all his history. He's on drops and saline solution as well. I can't tell if he's blind or what is going on. Has anyone else used this antibiotic before and seen this type of reaction. He's been on it for 7 days now

Sadly he became much worse and we decided it was time to let our sweet boy go. There is a huge hole in my heart. I will think of him often and love him always.
