Well I took him to the vet to get his pooping problem diagnosed. His stool was perfectly fine (as I though it would be, waste of like $30, oh well, better safe than sorry). And pretty much everything else checked out. So she said she thinks it must be behavioral. So she gave him some antibiotics etc just in case and also an anti-depressant!
What is funny is that the anti-depressant comes in a capsule, and I have to give him 1/4. That means I have to open it up and 'cut' it like a drug dealer! I used my credit card and everything!! It was actually pretty funny. Good thing I've watched a lot of movies (especially Goodfellas last week in my Scorcese Film Class here at UCF).
But he's been doing fine. I also changed him back to clumping litter, even though the problem didn't start when we changed it before (we actually accidentally bought the wrong kind and it was a BIIIG bag that time).
Also, on a sidenote, we're gradually switching him to adult food. The doc said it is fine just to make sure to do it gradually. I am sticking with purina, but I see they have an 'indoor' cat formula, so I'm going to try that. I'll have to do more research about it later!
