How do you make a cat trap?

How do you make a cat trap out of a pet carrier or pet taxi carrier? Cat traps cost to much

I don't think you can make an automatic trap out of a carrier. But I managed to catch one feral by tying a rope to the door, hiding, and pulling the rope when the cat went in. You have to be able to hold the rope tight enough that the cat can't push out, though. To help with that I kind of threaded the rope through the side bars in a way that made it easier to tighten.

Be sure to have a plan before you start trying to trap. You won't fool him twice.

I fed a pregnant semi feral canned food in the crate every day for nearly a week. then one day while she was eating, I closed the door. 

It was too late though, she'd had the babies, so I let her go again.

This is a cat i had before i rehomed him with his brother to someone they moved in the same park as me they let there cats out now i see a black cat running around my place everyone in awhile i know its toothless or sojo but not sure who or if its both i wanted to trape him and bring him in everytime he sees me he runs :/
