Cat having coughing and sneezing issues

Hey I'm new to this site and I need some help/or advice...I have adopted a feral cat and he has adopted us. My question is...I have noticed that he has started coughing and sneezing and is having trouble swallowing. My SO hates animals and I NEED to help "pretty boy"....My cat....any ideas???

Hi Jessica.

It sounds like he needs to see a vet. It could be a URI or he might have something stuck in his throat.

Are you able to touch him? If you could pick him up or coax him into a carrier and get him to a vet that would be great. If not try to borrow a humane trap. A lot of vets have these and will let you borrow one. When you get him to the vet make sure you get him neutered at the same time as having his cough seen to.
