I just took an outdoor cat for a checkup, all i could do was the vaccinations, i still need to go back to get her fecal checked, and checked for illnesses.

Anyways, i told the vet i wanted to deworm her, and he told me to just start applying paradyne, which is a flea medicine.

is that really enough? i told him the cat was an outdoor cat and i was bringing her in to be with my other cat that is indoor only. And he said that the flea medicine would be enough to get rid of any worms.

is that true?

update: you can see info on paradyne here.

I would think it would help, although it really depends on how bad her worms are.  As far as I know, this is usually used as a preventative, not a cure but it could be she doesn't have too bad a case.

Use it, as the vet said, but make sure you keep your eye on her stool.  I wouldn't introduce your current cat to her until you know she is clear.

Get her back for a follow-up as soon as you can afford it.  Thank you for helping her!
