In the last two weeks I've noticed the fur around her nose was missing in patches. It isn't red, but looks patchy and dry. She doesn't scratch at it at all. Any ideas?
So sorry about the long delay in responding or getting replies!! Oh dear - that came on in just two weeks time? I definitely don't think anyone here can fully diagnose this and really would encourage you to bring your cat into the vet, asap. This could be a number of issues; Ringworm (a fungus), an allergy to food or environment, or even a mite/mange issue. I enlarged the picture and it looks to me that the skin around the mouth and chin appear to be a bit red? Can't say for sure. Let us know what the vet says!
