So my mama cat Kiki is still feeding her 4 month old son duke, and she is going to him to have him feeds still! Is this normal with a solo born kitten?? Is it taking to be any nutritional needs away from kiki? I'm Not sure what to do?? If anything at all. After all mama knows best!!! [emoji]128516[/emoji][emoji]128512[/emoji]

I'm betting he's just nursing for comfort and not getting any milk out of her. If you think he's still getting milk I'd recommend breaking them up for a couple of days to wean him and to dry her out.

Usually mama stop nursing completely around 8-10 weeks of age, and start weaning around 6-8 weeks.

She needs to be dry to make her spay as safe and as easy of possible. You'll want to get both of them fixed. Soon son could knock up mama!
