@Norchan - Jiro sure is a handsome fellow.

@pocho -  Giuseppi is a handsome fellow. Hope he continues to do well even with the fiv.

My Youngest cat - Smudge - also has that tom cat square cheeks and face. He was also altered late (about a year old). He still has the look but sure mellowed out. He showed up at our previous house right before we moved out (unaltered) and wouldn't leave and no one claimed him either despite asking neighbors and putting up ads. Definitely not a feral in personality. We think he was just lost or dumped.

These are my 2 beastie boys, Oscar and Angel. They came to me last year after I lost my beautiful ginger Brat who left me after suffering from CKD. This is when they were little kittens rescued from the lifestyle centre where my shop is. I had them living in my bedroom for 3 weeks because they were completely wild and would take cover and hide every time I came into the room.  I had almost resigned myself to being their provider and not be allowed to stroke them but after getting some advice from a website about feral cats we slowly became friends. Opening the door  to the rest of my cottage for the first time was terrifying but we got through it and now they let me pick them up and kiss them and Oscar - the black one is especially affectionate and will come and snuggle on my chest while I am reading in bed, he is also a big talker especially when he doesn't know where his brother is.

This is them now, almost grown cats. The little cutie next to Angel is another feral kitten I fostered for a while.

@LawGuy

That's a stunning photo of your kitten catching a dragonfly. I love taking photos of my 2 but they have to be sitting or lying, I am not fast enough to catch them in motion. I would love to catch them running, Oscar looks like a panther and Angel looks like a tiger!

   This thread is stunning;   beautiful photographs everyone, and wonderful images of your cats sharing their lives with you.  Very precious indeed.

@Norachan

Hi thanks very much, they are gorgeous aren't they. Love them to bits.

I am very new to this posting thing - this is the first time I have done any posting so I am just staggering around in the dark hoping I don't break any of the protocols!

I will definitely check out that link and tell their story.

That quote you have at the bottom of your post reminds me of this book called Tailchaser by Tad Williams - its an awesome book.very insightful,
