Hi everyone :wavey:

Today's question is ...........

How often do you wash or have have your car washed ?

I have mine washed about once a month. ;)

I use to have it washed every week but I found its just not worth it. Its gets dirty again within a day just by driving to work. To get to my work place I have to drive down lots of little country lanes and when it rains ( which it does a lot in England :lol3:) all the mud get washed off the fields onto the roads. These roads are very narrow so no chance of avoiding the puddles especially when you have cars coming the other way passed you. :D

Not enough. A few times a year, and maybe my BF will wash it now and then in the summer.

I did bring it in last week because it was a nice day for winter, slightly warmer.

Maybe two or three times a year. When it first gets warm after winter, we wash all three cars back home to get all the salt and gunk out of the bottom. We'll wax once in the summer. I don't think I've ever been to a car wash before since we've always washed our cars just on our driveway.

I don't think my boyfriend's car has ever been washed - I keep offering to wash it for him when we visit my parents but it never happens. I think it needs a good vacuuming too since I don't think that's ever happened either, and he's had it maybe six years? Bleuch.

About once a year; twice at most. We really don't use our car very much, and now that it fits in the garage (we had to get the door widened) it doesn't get very dirty.

During the summer about once a week or so, during the winter it's only when it warms up enough and lately that isn't happening! We haven't hit freezing for a while, 32 will seem like a heat wave. My car is a different color right now from all the salt and mud, it needs washed!

There's always rain here in the Pacific NW, and my car is very old, lol. I wash it infrequently, like twice a year, depending. Sometimes during Spring/summer pollen floating around, I may wash it more. I have a carport, but it's not enclosed.

We get a lot of tree pollen here in central CA, too, so during the spring and fall pollen seasons, it gets washed every 2-3 weeks.   Winter and summer, infrequently.

About every two weeks during the summer when I can drive it to the back yard and do it myself. Usually around September or so, I make an appt for a detailing; they do a great job cleaning inside and out. During the winter, it's whenever it's warm enough to run it through the car wash. There's a lot of salt and such on the roads in the winter and it's good to keep the car as clean as I can and keep all that salt off of it.

And even though, Clarence, the PT Cruiser is as old as the hills now, I still wash him as often as I do the Tucson. He got a good detailing this past fall, too.

Hardly ever.

At this time of year the roads are all covered in slush and Mr Husband uses the car to get to all his climbing spots, so it's driven over a lot of tracks and dirt roads.

It gets taken to a car wash maybe twice a year. We have to time it right to get there after the snow melts, so we have a clean car for spring, then after the monsoon ends so it looks nice for the end of the summer.

We have a rough looking old jeep though, so it never looks that clean. Those kind of cars look better if they're a bit muddy.

It gets washed when it goes to the dealership for service, but other than that I only do it once or twice a year.
