I came here for help, because I don't have the resources to get her in a Vet at this point. I live in St. Paul, MN. I am comforting her now trying to monitor her. She has been in this condition for about 12 hours. She is still laying in the same condition. I have offered her milk and she won't even accept it from, which is not anything like her. I am very scared. I am looking for resources at right now.

Read this for ideas http://catcentric.org/care-and-health/financial-assistance/

Is it possible she was poisoned?   Is she an outdoor cat?

If you feel it might be poison call Pet Poison  Helpline 800-213-6680

Did this happen suddenly?   How long has she been like this?   What have you been feeding her?   If commercial food is there an expiration date?

How old is she approx?

She is 5 month's old.

She eats regular cat food and scraps left around occasionally.

Her Food isn't expired.

Poison is less then likely we don't have anything like around the house, unless it was like a household cleaner or something, but I doubt it.

Yes it happen about 12 hours ago it's 11:07pm now. I am wondering if she suffered trauma from the kids (I have 3) they had to stay home today because the weather was below -30 today. But the reported to me she was not looking well. My youngest, 3 is kind of rough and maybe he went to far, but he has been around her since a kitten. I can't any of them to tell if anything happened and the youngest doesn't speak much yet.

I used the link you provided, Zoneout and applied, I can't much tonight as far as emergency because I don't have the funds. But she is probably dehydrated now her nose isn't wet anymore.

Is their anyway I can force her to drink? I offered her milk and she never misses the chance but she won't even drink any now.

Is there any way you can look at her mouth? Many cats stick their tongue out/drool/act very sick when they have a serious oral health issue. Try and look for any redness or teeth missing. As for water, you can try offering her some wet food mixed with water and heated up like a kind of soup.

Poor kitty! It sounds as if she really needs to go to the vet. I hope you can find help to pay for it.

You can use syringe to give her water.

You may want to give her something like Pedialyte.

I am trying to see. I checked her jaw and didn't feel anything weird. I am thinking it's her throat now. I opened her mouth and she able to open it all the way. But she couldn't swallow at all. Her tongue hasn't moved from the position in the pictures a centimeter. I am now fearing the worst.

I have a question now.

Do you think it's a good idea to open her mouth tip her head back and pour milk or water in and let it slide down her throat? Like a tablespoon at a time.

She can't drink or eat on her own at this point. I have put all her favorites in her face and not even and only one failed attempt has happened.

This her now right now, tongue won't budge. and she is breathing carefully. Btw thanks for all your comments and help it is comforting.

I'm sorry to repeat myself, but I really think she should be taken to a vet. She doesn't look well.

I am going to take her, I can't until the morning, I have found some places that will help at low cost that open in about 10 hours. I have like $60 to my name they should take it as a down payment. It's the best I can do... I am just trying to provide relief until then, but I guess their is nothing I can do, but wait.

Do you have a syringe or dropper? You really need to get her hydrated.

Its very risky pouring anything down her throat if she cannot swallow properly she could aspirate.   If you do it would have to be tiny amounts like from an eye dropper slowly and see how she reacts.

Does she seem hot with like a fever if you feel her ears.

No one on this board is a licensed vet so unfortunately you will not get any diagnosis or treatment here. Members may suggest possible reasons why your cat is sick but ultimately only a vet can make a definite diagnosis and provide treatment. Be careful of other advice and suggestions you may come across on the Internet. Many people are well intentioned and want to help but sometimes provide incorrect or even downright dangerous information that may negatively affect the cat.

The sooner you can get your cat to the vet the better. Cats can quickly go downhill. Here's a list of vet ERs in your area: http://www.veccs.org/index.php?option=com_hospitals&Itemid=193 One is in St. Paul, a vet school hospital. Could you at least give them a call and explain the situation and what forms of financial aid they may be able to offer?

I hope your cat will be able to make it to see a vet
