A few weeks ago I was cleaning my cats eye with my finger instead of a damp cloth. I suspect that my nail scratched the corner of her eye while I was getting the dark gunk out of there. At first I thought the gunk had come off with some of the fur in the area thus explaining what I thought would be temporary pinkness. That small area has been pink and full of gunk ever since. Now I use a damp cloth every time I clean her there but it still hasn't healed and looks a little swollen too. I don't know what to do.
