I have 3 males that im giving Lysine treats too for Herpes virus, I am concerned about the ash content in the treats. I know ash is very bad for male cats. Are there Lysine treats that dont have the ash in it?

I am not sure about the treats but what I do is grind Lysine caplets and mix in wet food  twice a day ..You can also buy Lysine Powder .. My cats like the treats but do not eat them consistently ..

I buy powdered lysine and sprinkle it over the wet food. I can buy like a pound of the pure stuff for the same price of the treats.... (kitty drug dealer! lol)

I bought lysine capsules marketed for humans - they can be found in the vitamins section of the pharmacy and are for cold sores, typically about 500mg per capsule (watch out though because there are also the "super-strength" variety which are 1000mg). I then just opened the capsules up and dumped the powder straight into their food. Just make sure you know how much you're giving and that it only contains lysine and is not a multi-vitamin sort of product (it prob wouldn't hurt them either way but unless you know for sure I wouldn't give them to your pet).
