Been a Gain girl for a while myself!

Tide HE, regular scent.  For HE washers (high efficiency).

We also use the Downey Unstopables, Fresh scent.  They are beads you add to the wash and make everything smell SO good!

Woolite, both the darks one and the regular one. I also have the one for handwashing delicates. I used to use Tide but one day out of the blue the scent really irritated me so I switched.

I go to the laundrette once a week so I use whatever is in those machines. The powder is put in automatically, not sure what it is.

I know this sounds really lazy, but if I put a load in one of those big washer-driers it will be done in an hour. I don't have a drier and if I hang laundry out here it freezes. Also I can get Mr Husband to stop at the laundrette on his way home from work, it's one less thing I have to do.

Right now I have Arm & Hammer ultra concentrated.  I used to always use Tide but it's just too expensive.  When I need detergent now I get whatever is the best price that day without going to the completely unknown very cheap detergents.  I tried one of the really cheap ones and I didn't even finish using the bottle, there was a huge difference in how clean it got my clothes.

I always switch between Tide and Wisk, whichever is the cheapest at the time and what I have a coupon to use with it. Sometimes I'll go with Cheer, but that's pretty much it.

Tide Pods, Spring Meadow scent. People always say detergent is so expensive, and I guess Tide Pods are the highest-priced normal detergent, but it's less than 25 cents a pod and I can live with that. The only way that would be a problem for me is if I did more than 8 loads a day :lol3:.

I also have a natural unscented detergent for things that need more delicate care. Biokleen. Hmm, I guess it has some citrus exracts so it's not fully unscented, it smells a little like citrus. But no strong fragrances.

I use whatever natural detergent is the best deal. There's just too many chemicals in standard laundry products these days.

I have always used Gain detergent and softener, regular scent. Every time I think of changing someone will say, "what do you use to get your clothes to smell so good?", when I do their sheets they are sleeping on or do a load of visitors clothes at my house. Now I get HE too for my new washer.
