I currently have a 10 year old, indoor female who was spayed young. We adopted her for my daughter from the local shelter as a kitten. Now that my daughter is away at school it is just Noonu and I. She is my first cat love. I always had dogs. I had no idea cats could be so much fun before I found her. Love that chick! She is doing well, just a little slower which is to be expected. Glad to be a part of this site.

Thank you for the warm welcome! My girl has already returned. I dont know what breed my Noonu is. The shelter had her listed as domestic short hair torti. She has calico colors and a few patches, but she is mostly marbled. I guess that is what torti means?

It looks like she has solid patches of colour rather than patches with tabby stripes in them, is that right?
That would make her a calico and white. Have you seen our thread for calico cats? Lots of her sisters are on here.

Thank you all so much! Norachan, you are right she is mostly patched. She only has tan stripes on one ankle and they are very fine. And thank you for the link, I will check it out right away! This site is great. Thanks again!
