Monday's Question of the Day - January 5, 2015

Happy Monday yet again!   I am SO confused what day of the week it is!   Having holidays in the middle of the past 2 weeks really throws things off for me!  I suppose I should just be happy I put the right year in the title!   

In honor of Monday; let's keep it simple!  Where are your kitties right now?

I know we do this question regularly; but who doesn't like to talk about their kitties!!?   

Both of my girls are sleeping off their breakfast under the Christmas tree.  They won't be so happy in a few hour when I start taking it down!  I think Noodles will be happy to have the cat tree back in front of the feeder; but they do love hiding there!  If I had a huge house; I'd leave one up year round somewhere for them to hide. 

My cat is outside in the sun for a little while.

I have no idea. I am assuming Mollipop and BooBoo are in bed, Ms. Pepe is in her basket by the cat tree next to the living room register, Tabby is probably in the cat tree somewhere, Amber Louise is on the back of the chair and Muffin is probably on the chair in the bedroom, cuddled up in Rick's flannel lounging pants. That's where I think they are....where they really are is anybody's guess. But I bet I'm pretty close.

Mo's asleep on the pull out couch, Kismet's asleep in the basket/hammock.

Under the recliner because 10 minutes ago the mail carrier had a letter I needed to acknowledge. 

On the bed sleeping. 

I have no idea.  I'm at work.  I assume, they are both dead asleep.  Casper, most likely on the ottoman (or, on our bed)  and Cocoa in her cat bed, on the radiator of the dining room window.

Tom's home, so he probably has gotten them up and around periodically but I bet if I asked him to photograph them this moment, I'd be right 

Mogli is right here in the living room, tearing up his cardboard "house".

I'm at work. But if I had to guess..

Cassie would be dozing in my laundry basket in my tub.

Monet would be on my pillow dozing, or sitting by my back door, watching the world go by, waiting for me, lol.

Evening now (I didn't get on the computer all day to answer this in the morning).

Bobby and Tommy are on the cat tree in the kitchen, hoping that something of what I cooked is for them (it isn't).

Tuppence is down cellar, probably up on the heating vent.

Crystal is in the middle of the bed snoozing.

Ebony is on the cat perch in the front window, watching the world go by in the dark.

Cuddles and Mandy are in the bedroom, on different levels of the cat tree.  Periodically Cuddles is meowing for FOOD HuMOM!!!  OF course there is plenty of food in the bowl, but iti s more than 6 hours old and the middle of the bowl is empty (they ate that).  Typical.  Hence I am not rushing to address her concern.  It will be handled by 7 PM, the NORMAL time. 

Leroy's on my lap He wants to be hugged for a while. Emma is sleeping on top of my huge Patrick the Pup plush toy.

Lilith is snoozing on the cat tree. Sophie's in the kitchen grooming her foot and Bailey the dog is lounging in the hall.

it's evening here now. snick is in the living room with me, near the wood stove in her favorite woolrich bed napping.

jasper is upstairs in his safe room, in his favorite woolrich bed napping. he's been downstairs for a while today, and can come downstairs whenever he wants now. i do prefer when jasper spends time downstairs with snick and me, but his safe room is where he feels the most comfortable still. jasper will more than likely come downstairs and sleep at least part of the night on my bed with me.

It's snowing here so they're all indoors, hogging the couch, lying in a big pile on the bed or curled up in the wardrobe.

Strangely enough none of them are using the cat bed, guess they've left that for me.

It's really gotten cold again and Boo is feeling it. We got home from shopping last night and Boo was walking around yelling at us. As soon as I got in the door, I walked back to the bedroom and turned the electric blanket on to High on both sides. Waited about 15 minutes, putting groceries away and working on a bit of dinner for Rick and me and the boy was still having fits about it being cold. I finally picked him up, carried him off to bed and flopped him down on top of the blanket, then pulled the comforter over top of him; all you could see was The Lump (and that's what we call it). And that was all we heard from him until around 10:00 or so when he awakened and figured it was time for his bedtime snack. He ate his snack, got a drink of water and headed back to the bedroom. Walked up the steps to the bed, snuggled back under the comforter and that was that for the night. He really hates being cold.

Molli and Muffin were in bed with Boo and me, while I was watching Sleepy Hollow. Tabby came back and got into bed, too. Til Rick came back at 11:30, all six cats were in bed....they know that when Mom's home, that blanket is never turned off and they take advantage of the heat.

And that's where Holly wants to be. She's sitting there looking at him. They fight over the top

Both Are In The Sitting Room. I'm in bed. alone except for you lot.

Whisky has just joined me on my bed.

Robin is asleep on the washer machine, as close to the warmest spot he can find!

I can't wait to get him a cat tree; he would live in it!
