Ok, so its not the dire   situation as I feared.   We dont have any haste here, unless you do see any complications or problems.

But yeah, they CAN get heat alike symptoms during the pregnancy.  some even get in heat for real, as it happens they CAN have two different litters simultaneously, typically with 3-4 weeks apart.  Both delivered in their respective time, and both healthy with any luck.

So for example, one of my ex neigbours has a cat from such a second litter.   She knows very well it was the second litter, as the farmer she got the kitten from,  did drown the first litter, as is the old traditon for farmers, leaving perhaps one kitten so the mom has someone to care for and not be too depressed.  But when the second litter come, he recognized it was something unusual - and didnt had the heart to pts them.  So he managed to find good adoption homes for the second litter...

And thus, I can have this thruth confirmed by a living person, not just from what I did read about.

Ok, so my guess is this rolling is her in heat.    Its quite a few panicked owner who run to the vet with their "dying" female cat, to be  educated it was a quite normal heat behavior.    :)

But of course observe her and be vigilant, if you notice other alarming symptoms too - contact the vet asap.

Can you tell me wen i shud switch her to kitten food? and for how long shud she be on kitten food?
You can begin the swich somewhere now, take it slowly though, if she has a sensitive stomach and or unused to high protein and high fat diet.

Keep on with it as long as she is nursing them, and perhaps somewhat longer, so she can rebuild  herself.  The greatest toll comes actually when they are almost weaned: they are big and take much milk, but has not yet began to eat themselves.

So the vet said that she will deliver in another 10 to 12 days but I can't feel the kittens move..should I be worried?

Good question.  Usually you can feel them move at this moment, less than 2 weeks to delivery, sometimes even see them moving.

Ifs one of the reason I for one prefer ultra-sound - there you can actually see them move.  Or even a good palpitation, before classical X-rays.

WAS the vet seeing her, or it was just an assistant who took the x-rays?   And vet told you afterwards what was on the pics?

Or DID the vet palpated them and felt them move?

The vet told us before the x-ray was taken then he left. Assistant took the x-ray. The vet hasn't seen the x-ray yet.

So lets presume the vet did felt the kittens move.  He is surely more used to palpitate than you are.  But still.   BiancaVD had shown today a youtube clip on a female 10 days before delivery. Her belly went visibly in waves, so any palpitation wasnt necessary. "Even I did saw them move"

Did you felt yourself them move at this time when vet checked?

The video I posted was from a very active pregnancy, but I also know that it isn't always looking like that. For my cat, the kittens were really on her sides, so every little movement they made I could see (and even film). For my friend, who had a litter of 3, she didn't see them move at all, and could only feel them if she placed her hand on the cat's belly for a long time. You could try that, and also on different places as you probably aren't sure where exactly they are located.

Also, make sure you keep an eye on any discharge/outflow (not sure about the english word). If it's green it can indicate eg. an infection or even a kitten that has passed away. If you see this and/or you are certain they aren't moving even when feeling multiple times on a day, you should call the vet just to be sure (calling doesn't cost anything and it can really help you through your worries). But for now, I would not worry, as it's probably okay.

There is no discharge and she seems fine...sometimes I think I feel movement but then I'm not sure cuz this is my first time...So I shouldn't be worried right?

Yes, I wouldn't worry
As long as your cat seems healthy, and there isn't any discharge, you have no reason to worry. Also, some litters you don't see obviously move until the final 7 days, so maybe this litter is just a little later!

The movement is as if you are feeling an upset tummy, just "movement" but it doesn't have to be very obvious. If you think you felt something, you probably did.

I will hope for a happy outcome and lots of healthy kittens! Please keep us updated and don't be shy to ask us for anything if you are still worried :) We are here to help and support!

It's okay to wait a little longer. If there is nothing at day 68/69 I would call the vet. Usually they help out when it gets near 70 days or at 70 days. It's naturally for people to be a little of when guessing how far she is. So they could be like 2 days off, then she's actually at day 64. First litters are usually born on day 65 :)

I'll hope everything will go well! Good luck!
