submit new avatars?

I just noticed that one of the avatars is cut from a picture that is currently in Caption This.

How can I submit avatars for everyone to use? And what size etc would they need to be?

I haven't seen any official announcements regarding submitting pics for avatars. But if you want more info, perhaps email Hissy at [email protected] and she may be able to shed some light on this for you.
