Hi everyone! My name Sydney and I just joined this forum today! About a year ago I had decided I wanted to add a cat to my little family of animals and it has been the one of the best decisions I everr made! I found my baby, Danny, at my local Petsmart where he and his other litter mates where being shown for adoption by the animal shelter in my area. Originally, I didn't want him AT ALL! He looked like a replica of my old cat and it made me way to sad to look at him. But after about ten hissing cats had come my way, I decided to hold him, and from there I knew he was the only kitten I wanted! After a couple of weeks with Danny though I learned he wasn't your average cat. He had a ton of problems that came with him. One of those was severe seperation anxiety. When he was a kitten he couldn't be left alone at all and he didn't like it when the light were turned off unless I was holding him or he was right next to me. He had to sleep in my bed every night and still does to this day. He's gotten a lot better as he's gotten older, but even now he can't stand to be left alone for more than thirty minutes. He is also allergic to grains and seafood, plus he's lactose intolerant! So he is definitely not your stereotypical cat! All in all though he is my absolute best friend and I don't know where I would be without him! I'm looking forward to meeting a bunch of new people on here!
