I got my car today!
I'm exhausted though. Long day for this post-op patient. Wal-Mart claims sent me a regular check and made it out to me. So if I deposited it in my bank I would have to wait a week for it to clear because it's an out of state check (5 days plus the weekend). So I said, "Screw that" and went to the dealership to see if they could take it and pay me out the money left. It's a big dealership and their finance department's are pretty savvy in their ways. Right? Well they did have a way! So I signed the check over to them, they took payment out and wrote me a LOCAL check for the balance!

Then I went to Costco and bought myself a set of brand new Michelin tires becasue my tires were bare. I love em! I've had them before and they perform awesome! Plus they have a lifetime of your car gaurentee.

My next stop was the carwash and then the grocery store before I came home. 6 hours later and I'm finally home!

Also got all those digital prints I ordered from Wal-Mart. They turned out pretty good.

Now I'm sitting here eating some vanilla ice cream and Peaches is driving me nuts! She loves milk (even though I don't give it to her) and must love icecream too. But I keep having to move it from side to side of my desk. She'll lay on the desk on one side of the monitor and look all innocent. Then she'll start sneaking over to the other side where the ice cream is. So I move it and she lays down on the opposite side and looks innocent again. Slowly she creeps over to the other side where the ice cream is located again and I move it to the side she just came from again. It's some kind of game that's irritating me tonight.

That's awesome news Tam! It's great that things are starting to look up for you...you really needed a break!

Your fiasco with Peaches
sounds exactly like Miss Tiki tonight. She never wants human food but she begged so desperately for some turkey! It was just too dang sweet!
She knows that if she gives me those looks from her blue eyes, I just can't resist!

BTW, did you get my PM from the other day? If so, did it help? Just curious...

Congrats on the great day!
Here's to many many more!

Thank you! I still can't believe it's over! I keep going to the window to look out and make sure my car is really there.

Hi Shell. Yes I got your PM. Thanks! I was a little confused by part of it but I'm easily confused sometimes. Still looking to get some addresses though!

Tammie, just let me know what part I confused you by & I'll give it another try. I didn't have a chance to do any research at work, but it's on my To Do List for Sunday night.

^^ I don't think she got a new car. Just got it back after Walmart messed up

Anyways, Michelin tires are really good. I love their Pilot series. I also like Yokohama, Falken and Kuhmo, but it all depends on budget.
Ok enough about tires

Congrats on finally getting your car back!!! What type is it anyways?

Peace,
Brandon

I didn't see this until now bren. Cougar is right. Last July I had my oil changed at Wal-Mart and 4 days later my engine was toast. My cat is a 2000 Daewoo and only had 29,000 miles on it. It's been a long fight and I had to get a lawyer (thank God my neighbor is a high profile lawyer and took it for me).

Ok you guys..... my CAR!!! Sorry for the typo.
I guess I just always have cats on my brain!
Plus Carmella like to jump up on the desk and stand in front of the monitor. She probably jumped up there right when I was typing. Freudian slip!

I remember your oil change problem, I thought maybe they had to replace your car. Lucky you to have a good lawyer.
