Petsmart Authority brand canned cat food - a pretty healthy diet! Suprised but happy.

In the never ending search of finding healthier foods that my cats will eat - I just happened to stop in Petsmart and walk by the Authority Brand canned cat food - which is their own brand. I didn't expect much but happily I saw that it has no MENDIONE - no potentially dangerous fillers like cranberry, rosemary, yucca, garlic or alfalfa - uses copper protenaite instead of sulfer and has meat as the first ingredient without by products or fish meal. I was pretty happy so I bought a variety for the cats to try and the oldest one which is the most finicky seemed to like the one that came in the plastic tubs & will nibble on the canned pate cans too - they were about 80 cents a can - more expensive then a regular supermarket brand but half the price of some of the so - called premium brands so I will be stocking up on this brand now and wanted to share my "find" with you all.  There is just one flavor that I noticed - I think it was the shredded turkey that contains DL - Methionine - which although not as toxic as MENDIONE BISULFATE - SYNTHETIC VITAMIN K - K3 - I am not convinced is safe & so I avoid that flavor.  Happy New Year - and  a happy, healthy contented life to all our pets too.
