Sorry no one has answered this before now. Your vet will needs to make that decision after a follow up. If she has not improved she may need another type antibiotic. This includes the sniffling, usually that should be gone by the time you finish the antibiotics.

My cat Willis has had the sniffles and sneezes for several months now. Started out on one antibiotic - convenia - that was not effective. Then he went to baytril - also not effective. Next we tried lysine - twice - no effect. Finally the vet did a nasal culture and isolated the bacteria causing the infection and the antibiotic that is supposed to address that bacteria - docycycline for mycoplasmal felis for three weeks has also not been effective. Your vet may suggest trying another antibiotic (the poke and hope method) or a nasal culture. If your cat is healthy enough for sedation and you have a couple hundred $ that might be the way to go. My vet has now recommended a skull xray to rule out  "a mechanical issue". So yes, my cat is proof that the sniffles can drag on and on, despite veterinary care, but I'd still follow up with your vet, who will want to try another approach. I guess the worst problem with a stuffy nose is the chance that, because they can't smell their food, they may stop eating and that is very bad. So far my 18.8  pound Maine Coon Tank still has a good appetite and really doesn't appear to feel all that sick - no fever, good appetite, playing, affectionate - but he does sound kind of miserable so we really need to get to the bottom of this - chances are very good that sniffles will not heal themselves - good luck to you too.
