Is cleaning my kittens ear with cat war solution safe?

I saw a solution to clean the inside of a cat's ear but I'm not sure if such things are safe to use. I have noticed that the inner part of her ear is quite dirty.

I do clean the outter part of the inside of her ear with water and cotton ball but not the inner part as I don't want to damage her ear drums.

Does anyone use cat ear solution or know if it's safe to use??

If the inner part of her ear is always dirty she might have mites. You can get drops from the vet for really cheap to take care of it if that's the problem.

Does this look like ear mites or just simple ear wax??

I'm not a vet so can't say for sure, especially not knowing if the cat is all white or if that's a black patch in her ear...

But that pic does look A LOT like ear mites to me. You don't ever see the mites themselves, just their crusty yucky poop.
