I wasn't in a mood to cook last night so we had pizza rolls and salad.

Not sure about tonight but probably what's left from last night LOL.

How do you make ziti and what pasta do I use if I can't get ziti.
The recipe for our baked ziti is here, Judy:   http://www.thecatsite.com/t/238199/main-dishes-and-entrees-pasta#post_3713004

If you don't have ziti, use any medium tube-shaped pasta. Penne would work as would penne rigate. Don't use ditlini or pipette as I think they're too small. (But I'm not a pasta expert, so I'm not sure).

This is a good make-ahead recipe because you can make it the night before or even the morning of the day you plan to bake it. A nice salad, maybe some fresh rolls, and you're good to go. It makes a lot, but you can easily halve the recipe and put it in an 8-inch baker; just be careful that it doesn't bake out over into your oven.

I'm thinking beef pot pie tonight. Comfort food. It's basically beef chuck browned and simmered in beef broth. With lots of onions and potatoes. And then you roll out the pot pie squares and drop them into the simmering beef. Rick loves pot pie and so do I.

Kntrygrl256, would you please describe your pizza rolls? I'm curious....anything for pizza!
I have a recipe for an Italian-style yeast roll that you bake and then dip into pizza sauce to eat. Are your pizza rolls like mine?

I had a chicken and steak burrito. We went into the city to get free burritos for the grand opening of a restaurant. Turns out, they had the time wrong (flyers said 7) and they were done at 6 but they closed and locked their doors at 5:40. We got there at 6:02. We wanted burritos so we went down the street to a different place.

I only had to feed myself tonight so I sauteed some onion, broccoli and garlic, added some tinned tuna, seasoned with salt and pepper and topped it with Parmesan cheese. It was fast and I found it yummy.

Friends are bringing over lasagna, homemade bread, and a surprise dessert. Be interesting to see if I can manage lasagna one handed / left handed.

BBQ pulled pork that my mom made yesterday in the crockpot on a bun.
Awwww, man!

I'm thinking about marinaded grilled chicken breasts sliced over a veggie salad. With a garlic-Parm roll. (Garlic-Parm rolls are a staple in this house)

It was good lol. That sounds delicious! We're having BBQ'd hamburgers and hot dogs with shrimp macaroni pasta salad.
