a grilled cheese sandwich,  and some potato salad i made this morning. kind of an odd combination, at least it sounds odd to me but maybe that's because i've never had the two together before...(just to be clear -- i'm talking about the potato salad as a side dish, not on/in the grilled cheese sandwich).

Didn't have enough time to make the honey chicken (needed 1 hr 15 mins to bake) so we grilled some chicken and wrapped it up in a whole grain tortilla with some cheese. Steamed broccoli and cauliflower on the side.

I stopped at Burger King after the grocery store. It was meh.

Our local grocery chain has a section for British foods and I found this candy bar. My DD loves white chocolate. Anyone tried it?? Do you like it? I'm going to see her next week so I'll bring it to her.

Rick and I went out to dinner last night. We were going to go tonight for Valentine's Day, but the weatherweenies are forecasting snow (it's snowing now at 6:00 am). When I got home yesterday, he suggested we go out then and so we had Mexican. It was yummy.

So tonight I'm thinking the minestrone that we didn't have last night.

too healthy for me. i had lasagna
LOL!! It was delicious, nice'n'cheesy. Didn't taste "healthy" at all
We had just come from the gym, too. We are calorie-counters and briefly considered eating out at Panera but it would have put my partner over his calories for the day.

Tonight, no healthy food will be in sight! We're going out for BBQ, including sides of corn pudding and hushpuppies with honey butter.

Being it's V-Day, and the weather in the northeast is abysmal, I made a very nice dinner for us.

Petite filet mignons, small lobster tails with herb butter, baked potatoes and green beans.  Opened a very nice bottle of red Zinfandel. Dessert is homemade strawberry shortcakes.  Everything we've had so far came out perfect, if I can tout my own horn lol.

Not a diet dinner.
