I rarely post here because I usually don't have anything interesting.  Kroger had value packs of New York Strip steaks for 5.99 a pound and I splurged, I got 4 steaks for just under $19.  I had one tonight and froze the other three individually.  I have one of those grill pans with the ridges so I get the dark crusty grill marks.  I also got a bag of Simply Potatoes southwest seasoned hash browns.  I cooked some of the hash browns and microwaved a bag of mixed veggies with broccoli, carrots, and cauliflower.  I pigged out tonight on a really good dinner.
Good for you.

Roasted chicken with brown rice and spinach as sides. Hope to make stock from the leftover chicken after I debone it.

Hardly
But........This summer we got very very very sweet ones, vacuum packed, and I still buttered and salted them but I prefer ordinary ones. Do you grow them?

I cleaned out the veggie drawer and make a chicken stir-fry. It turned out very well, considering some of the unusual ingredients! :D

St. Louis-style ribs with a bit of potato salad. No dessert. It's just Rick and me today and that's all I'll have time to make.

Leftover ribs and pasta salad. I will say those ribs were really good. I tried a recipe from Cook's Country Eats Local for Kansas City Sticky Ribs. They were, indeed, very sticky, but they were good.

I am going to sautee' some onions and add a can of corned beef hash. I have some yellow squash and some zucchini. I am going to stir fry that in the skillet with some olive oil. I might bake a pan of corn bread to go with it and have some home cooked applesauce.

I got muddled up. The last thing I ate should have been melon and not my dinner as stated. Oops.
