Here's the recipe that I use for the applesauce BBQ:

2 med. onions, chopped
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
2 cups applesauce (not chunky)
1 cup catsup
4 Tbsp. lemon juice
2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
½ tsp. salt

Saute onions in butter and then add remaining ingredients. I like to cook it down a bit, before brushing on to the spareribs.

Applesauce bbq (at least the recipe I used) was equal parts bbq sauce and apple sauce, some black pepper, chili powder and brown sugar. I used original bbq sauce but I think it would be better with a flavoured sauce. I love honey garlic sauce but we can't use honey because my son can't have it since he's under a year old.
Cool. I found a pretty easy recipe, but yours is much better. I do like Hickory smoke BBQ sauce. I bet it would be good on the grill, but I love crock pot cooking so I may try this in the crock pot this weekend. I'm going to be too busy to cook and this is too easy not to try. Thanks, @catlover19

what's catsup?
catsup, or ketchup, is a condiment -- like yellow mustard or mayo. it's made from tomatoes, and is thick and red colored. heinz is a well-known brand of ketchup. catsup and ketchup seem to be used to mean the same thing. a popular use of ketchup is on hamburgers or hot dogs. ketchup can also be used as an ingredient, like in @Winchester's applesauce bbq recipe.

Tuscan Chicken sandwiches.  They. Are. So. Goooood!
The meat is cooked in a slow cooker and then shredded.  You mix mayo and pesto sauce and spread it on ciabatta bread with a slice of tomato.  Yum yum yum!

Not sure about tonight. I have a very small piece of cooked chuck roast in the fridge that I'd like to use for something. I checked out allrecipes.com and found a recipe for Beef Stifado that I think I can tweak to use leftover beef instead of fresh. I have everything it calls for: pearl onions, carrots, wine, garlic, tomatoes. It calls for a can of diced tomatoes, but I'm going to try a container of my frozen roasted plum tomatoes instead. I think I can tweak it and still have it come out well. The original recipe takes a couple of hours, but with the cooked beef, I'm thinking I can cut that time way down.

We had chicken and feta stuffed chicken breasts and parmesan noodles. It was out of a package but apparently the kids really liked it because both ate it all.

Again, I made myself another "pizza" on whole grain flatbread, pizza sauce, yellow peppers, feta, mozzarella, spinach and pepperoni.  I do not seem to tire of these!
