What about rhubarb preserves?  Can you get that shipped in?
anything that could possibly be shipped in would have to be certified kosher by the rabbis. I may be able to when I go b England at the end of the year if I can find it but I love fresh

I did a search and found this place - http://www.kosherartisanal.com/strawberry-rhubarb-jam-blake-hill-preserves/  see if they ship internationally....and ask if they would consider doing a straight simple rhubarb preserve :)

I hear you re fresh (or fresh-frozen), but if you can get it at all, that would be neat!

Pat you are a marvel. How on earth did you find that? I filled in for their weekly letter and asked if there's a chance they'l start importing here. I would never be able to have it sent to me because of all the tax I'd have to pay. But thank you very much. :-)

Just got lucky with my search terms and using Bing :)  I will cross my fingers that somehow this works out - both for you and for this business!

For lunch I had a package of Miracle Noodles Ziti with a 3.5 oz. pouch of plain cooked salmon and 1 tab. of Newman's Olive Oil and Vinegar dressing mixed with all.  I do love my "concoctions".

Ate out at a local Mexican restaurant we like.  I had lime cilantro chicken - no beans, no rice, no coleslaw, no sour cream or pico de gallo, asked for sautéed veggies instead and had a large lovely portion of broccoli, summer squash and zucchini.  Sopapillas with some whipped cream for dessert (no honey or chocolate sauce, just cinnamon and the whipped cream on the side). Lovely meal.

I drink my breakfast too. Having a coffee right now, I usually eat something after my 2 year old has been fed and I've given the baby his bottle.
