What's the last thing you ate - 2015

A chocolate covered biscuit. 90 calories.

A blueberry pancake.  With fresh blueberries from North Carolina I just bought at the market.  Did I mention fried in a little butter?  Was so good!

Crusty French mini baguette cut in half, 1/2 with unsalted butter and Jarlsberg Swiss and the other 1/2 with unsalted butter and Cotswold Cheddar & Chives cheese. I also love good cheese![emoji]10084[/emoji]️

I just made dill & some kind of cheese perogies..  I can't recall at the moment, and chicken breast.

My dinner last night was a batch of guacamole with some tortilla scoops. 

Rick and I had stopped in at the grocery store quickly, so that I could buy a bag of Yukon Gold potatoes to make potato salad for today. They started to make fresh guac and one of the clerks had samples. I don't normally try samples, but it was guacamole...and I do love guacamole. Had a cracker with a nice dip of guac. And walked right over and picked up a container. Rick told the lady, "That was easy enough, wasn't it? She loves her guac!" The lady laughed. I do love the stuff, but I rarely make it. I don't have a good recipe for it, I guess.

. I love onion potato perogies, fried with more onions and red peppers, served with a side of applesauce and sour cream. Yummy! I love food, can you tell!

I bought an excellent garlic herb seasoning after having a sample at the store. I sautéed jumbo shrimp in butter, garlic oil, and the seasoning. They were to die for! I also had grilled marinated Asparagus which was sooooo good!

Today is pulled pork in honey, brown sugar BBQ sauce, green salad, corn on the cob, cheesy potatoes and grilled veggies!

Oh my gosh, yummy. What time should I arrive for dinner?! LOL

I haven't eaten anything yet, I just crawled out of bed.. Probably just going to make some chicken noodle soup, sounds good, lol!

Haha, I am not! BUT I do love chicken noodle soup!

I got up more around lunch time rather than breakfast, so I figured why make breakfast.. haha!

A Morningstar Farms Mushroom Lover's veggie burger. Believe it or not, it tastes almost exactly like a well done beef burger. I don't like beef well done.I prefer mine between rare and medium rare but these are quite good and not really "mushroomy" although I do like mushrooms. DD had a Morningstar Farms spicy black bean veggie burger which are delicious. I saved her a bite of the mushroom one. She is very picky and she agreed that it does taste like well done beef and not a giant mushroom. We had those with some  regular Ruffles chips and a diet cherry Dr. Pepper (very nice and not diet tasting at all).

I'm making some popcorn as we speak.

I made us asparagus-mushroom-asiago cheese frittata's this morning.  Yummo!

I had hot dogs, watermelon and a small piece of brownie for lunch.

A bowl of Cinnamon Toast Crunch.

A delicious ceasar salad with plenty of parmesan and those little salty fishes the name of which has slipped my memory. Then I had veal spare ribs with mashed potatoes and then strawberries and cream. How's that then?

Hi Stewball!  Anchovies! I love them, especially on Cesar salad. I need to get some anchovies, I think my big tin has seen better days. Maybe I'll go to the deli this week.

a couple fried eggs, and two pieces of buttered toast with grape jelly -- my lunch, several hours ago. will be having a snack shortly.

2 pieces of Hershey Gold with almonds and green tea with honey & lemon on ice!
