braising is when you sear a piece of meat to get a nice color on it and then cook it for a long time on a low heat with some sort of liquid. pot roast is braised if you've ever had that. it's delicious.

1 cup of cauliflower with a slice of blue marble jack cheese melted atop. 1 package of Nick's Spicy Sticks (best gf sugar free grass fed beef jerky sticks around). 1 oz. half and half with my very strong coffee

Made myself a really nice dinner - afterall, I closed my business today, so I needed/wanted something nice
Salad of romaine, sweet orange mini bell pepper, scallion, celery, with a blue cheese and bacon dressing, bit of fresh mozzarella diced in. Boiled fresh zucchini with a tablespoon of Lutenitsa sauce. 8 oz. ribeye with a bit of compound butter (fresh homegrown chive in kerrygold butter) atop. A gluten-free chocolate covered doughnut. Coffee with half and half.
