for the time being, i'll have the two monitors in separate rooms. but i did want to be able to run two monitors at the same time -- should i decide to move them to the same room/desk, or simply switch rooms i'm in throughout the course of one day.
mickNsnicks2mom, you're going to love having two monitors. I have two at work and it's made my computer life so much easier. No more having to resize screens when I have a ton of open programs to work on a project. It's the best thing ever for me.
Don't you have your phone in a special cover to take care of it. I do. I have dropped it and thanks to the cover it's sitting in I have no worries.
- Errands: Banking, some things for Rick's mother, Target, etc. Rick needs extra meds to get him through his trip, so we need to talk to the pharmacist.
- I have to get the screen to my cell phone repaired. I dropped it the other day and the screen cracked. First time I have ever dropped a cell phone. I have no idea what it involves or how to deal with it.
- Other than that, it's just standard stuff: a bit of cleaning throughout the house, scooping, etc.

I do not. I haven't seen a case yet that I like. But I guess if I'm going to start dropping my phone, I'd better get the thing in something.Don't you have your phone in a special cover to take care of it. I do. I have dropped it and thanks to the cover it's sitting in I have no worries.

But it wasn't the screen.....it was the protective film across the screen that cracked; the screen itself is fine. So I lucked out there. $20 for a new protective screen and life goes on.
- Planning on working a bit in the garden
- Need to mow the weeds in the yard (at this point, they're the only things growing!)
Prices of things are ridiculous nowadays aren't they?
You got very lucky. What kind of phone do you have? Amazon is my go to for those things and they have HUGE selection for pretty much any phone
It was kind of a shatterproof protective screen; that's why it was more expensive. I was glad to pay it as it was a lot cheaper than replacing the screen itself.
This is a good one. Good reviews from a lot of people. It comes in other colors that are not Prime eligible. It's "pretty" per se but it does it's job very well. I had a similar one for my last phone and the phone survived many drops without a scratch
I have a Droid Turbo. We are looking at phone cases now. I was lucky once....I don't want to repeat it though.
Why do you leave the dishes if there's only a few things to wash.after an extremely hot day of stacking much firewood, trimming down a garden bed, and assorted household chores, we're having a nice quiet day out of the heat today -- supposed to get to 90 degrees here, and the sun is just beating down.
- gave snick and jaspurr their breakfast, then made my breakfast
- no dish washing today, as i only have a couple pieces of silverware and three dishes so far. but will scoop litter boxes and take out the trash
- will do a little more fine tuning of upcoming home improvement plans -- i always enjoy doing that
- will see if i'm up to (ie, not too overtired) to do some reading, and/or watch some tv later today
while normally having just a few dishes to wash is a pretty happy day for me as far as dishes go, this summer has been 'eventful' for me as well as having enough extremely busy periods of time that some days i try to reduce the things i have to do in just about any way possible. by doing that, i have just that little bit more of the calm and relaxing time that day that i've been so short on this summer. Why do you leave the dishes if there's only a few things to wash.
