Name three things - 2015

• Which puts me on trash detail tonight by myself. I have to clean all the litterboxes and get the trash down to the road for pick-up early Thursday morning.
• While I'm doing that, I have a couple loads of laundry to do. (I was going to do it last night, while I washed anything Rick needed, but I had done a pretty good job on Sunday and he didn't need anything done.)

• Errands: I have banking to do, both for Rick and me and for his parents. My MIL needs a few things at the grocery store. My sister and I are going to the nursery today for butternut squash plants and for red beets, and a couple broccoli plants. She wants to get some pampas grasses for a hill she's landscaping in her backyard by the pool. Then we're heading out to look at dishwashers.
• I really need to clean this messy house when we get home from shopping. So a good vacuuming, dusting, cleaning the kitchen and bathroom, all that good stuff.
• It's been showering throughout last night and even into this morning. I may not get any vegetables planted today, depending on the weather. If it clears up at all, I'll plant whatever I buy. I'm thankful for the rain.
• I found a recipe for a knock-off of King's Hawaiian buns that I'd like to try, maybe tonight.

• I washed the sheets this morning and they're in the dryer now. Washing the comforter, too. I took the electric blanket off the bed yesterday (much to BooBoo's dismay last night; he let me know he was not amused by meowing when he came to bed. Loudly, I might add) and it's staying off now until fall.
• Doing some shopping today. Looking for a new dishwasher and also looking at microwaves while I'm out and about. Doing some clothes shopping, too. I need some casual tops for work. A new Fitbit band is on my list; my old one is starting to split (that's common with the Flex bands). I made up a list of things I want to check out.
• After dinner tonight, I will come home and start mowing the lawn. I can't get the riding mower out of the shed on my own, so if I push-mow the front tonight and then the back tomorrow, I should have it all done til Rick gets home. Weather permitting, that is. We are to get t-storms today and tonight.

Back to work today. I felt well all weekend and worked hard getting stuff done. This morning? I awakened with a headache. First day back to work and this is what happens. Hopefully it won't last too long.

• Rick and I are doing the dreaded dishwasher hunt this morning, followed by running some errands for his mom. Since we have to go to the grocery store, we're going to pick up what I need for our Memorial Day picnic. 
• Work outside in the veggie garden. It desperately needs some weeding.
• We will have an early dinner because Rick will be sleeping at his parents' house tonight and Sunday night. His father is not doing well. He'll be going late afternoon, so while he's gone, I want to vacuum a bit. 

• gave snick and jasper their breakfasts
• washed some dishes, scooped litter boxes, took out the trash
• got things ready for jasper's and my trip to the shelter clinic
• shelter clinic for jasper's annual shots, dewormer, and flea treatment application -- while he was back in with the vet (all of 5-7 minutes), i filled out and signed the paperwork to make official jasper's adoption. so now jasper is officially in his furever home here with me and snick!   btw -- when the vet tech was bringing jasper back out to me in his carrier i heard her say, 'what a big beautiful boy!'
• i bought an inexpensive take out breakfast from a small diner across the street from the shelter, as i hadn't had breakfast yet
• got back home and got jasper settled in, then gave both cats a snack
• did a few small things around the house, then took a shower

• gave snick and jasper their breakfast, then made my breakfast
• gave snick her sub-q's, then a snack
• called my mom, our weekly chat
• made my lunch
• washed the dishes, scooped litter boxes, took out the trash
• have been fighting the annual pi$$ ant invasion today. they seem to come into my house once each spring looking for bits of food debris, but after they find nothing (left out) they give up. so i hope their annual invasion won't last long. there have only been 8-10 tiny ants so far, but those have been dispatched already.

• went to the bakery for rolls
• went back to the shelter to drop off prescription food - the delivery they were supposed to get has been delayed by a strike

• gave snick and jasper their breakfast, then made mine
• gave snick her sub-q's
• make my lunch
• wash the dishes, scoop litter boxes, take out the trash (if it's not storming, otherwise will bundle the trash up and take it out either later today or tomorrow)
• start writing up shopping list for saturday's shopping
• might finish off the book of short stories today, then will choose which book i'll read next

• will make my lunch shortly, then make snick and jasper a snack
• wash the dishes, scoop litter boxes, take out the trash, bring in the newspaper
• write up 'to-do' list for tomorrows busy day
• get the shopping list written up
• when the package from chewy gets delivered, will unpack and add some new canned cat food flavors to the cats rotation
• i hope to finish my book today, and choose the next book to read

• Some shopping: Lowes, banking, and some errands for Rick's mother. I want to stop at our local butcher to pick up some nice rib-eye steaks for grilling on Sunday. He's going to bring his mom down to have dinner with us.
• We are going to spend tomorrow with the grands. Our granddaughter wants to bake chocolate crinkles tomorrow. Since it's a very rich dough, it has to be in the fridge overnight, so I must get the dough ready to be chilled. I must make a pasta salad to take down tomorrow, too. Our granddaughter and I will be doing the grilling tomorrow night for supper, too. It's just burgers, but she enjoys cooking with Grandma.

• called my mom for our weekly chat -- left a message, as she and my aunt (her twin) aren't home, will try calling back later
• will make my lunch in about an hour or so, and a snack for snick and jasper
• wash the dishes, scoop litter boxes, take the trash out, bring in the newspaper
• later this afternoon/evening, i'll wash a quilt in the washing machine -- then will dry it on low heat starting tomorrow morning, until it gets dry

• Grocery shopping tonight
• I didn't get the yard mowed yesterday, so if it doesn't rain tonight (we are in t-storm mode right now), I will be mowing
