Well, Rick and I had planned to spend the morning at the Green Dragon (http://www.greendragonmarket.com/index.php), just to see what was going on. However, it's a distance away from us and the ground and road are now white. Our 3-6 inches of snow has started to fall and will continue to around 6:00 p.m. today). The GD is only open on Fridays. I think this is the fourth(?) time that we've planned a jaunt down there this year, only to bag it because of snow and/or otherwise bad weather. There's a meat market there that has wonderful Boston butts (pork shoulders) and we use them for making pulled pork on the grill. A lot of interesting things there. But not for today.
So.....
So.....
- Probably some house cleaning: vacuuming, dusting, litter boxes, all that good stuff
- I'd like to make some bread or maybe some yeast rolls (we are out of garlic-Parm rolls again)
- Maybe do some work in the basement a bit (just some straightening up). I'd like for Dear Richard to make a trip to the landfill on Saturday and to the recycling center, but I doubt that will get done.
- And since he's home, maybe we can rent "The Theory of Everything" tonight. I was going to rent it over last weekend, but never got around to doing so.

- Clean apartment <-- I'm still working on this one. I took a break because I got tired 3 hours ago, and sweeping and mopping is all that's left for tonight. I would vacuum, but it's 10pm and I'm not a crappy neighbour.

We didn't see it yet, Judy. We got busy with other stuff and it slipped our minds.
We ended up with about 5-1/2 inches of snow yesterday. It's wet and clingy. It looks pretty in the trees but that's about all I can say for it. We are to get close to 50 today, so hopefully it won't hang around long.

I have a hair appt right after work today for a touch-up. That will be it for me tonight.
I did some general straightening this morning before I got ready for work. Took the mail back to the Rick's desk, scooped the boxes, took recycling to their proper bins in the basement and put some laundry away.

- Worked at the shelter this morning. A lost cat was reunited with his owners, which made my day!
- E-filed my tax return.
- Made catsitting arrangements for our next vacation.
- Going out to lunch with an old GF who has moved back into the area. She and I go way, way, WAY back. I'm really looking forward to seeing her again as I think it's been about 12 years since we were last together. I'm so glad she has moved back home.

Yesterday
went out for lunch with a very old friend. Our 40+ year old sons grew up together. Has a nice lunch.
Bought some new bedsheets. I don't know how it comes in America. Ours come in a packet of sheet, quilt cover and two pillowcases. Very pretty.
Wandered around the mall then came home.
Got up with an upset stomach today. My friend is okay. I feel rotten.

- Banking, coffee shop for the Keurig, Target for meds, etc.
- I don't think we're buying the fire pit today, but the store has opened a new outdoor display and we're going out to look around. Every time we planned to do this in March, it has snowed!
- Computer work on Rick's union's laptop. They're using Norton and it has 12 days left. Rick has approval to buy what he wants so we're going with a 3-year Kaspersky Internet Security package. I'll have to install it and make sure it's running Ok.
- gave snick and jasper their breakfast -- my breakfast will wait a while, as i'm not in a hurry to start doing things today
- will make my breakfast shortly
- wash the dishes, including those used for the turkey roasting and gravy making yesterday -- they've been soaking in soapy water, so should be an easy clean up
- portion up the turkey and freeze most of it, and freeze the zipper bag containing the carcass bones (will be used to make turkey stock coming up)
- scoop the litter boxes, take out the trash, and bring in the newspaper
- will finish putting together my spices order, and work on finishing my shopping list (for next saturday's shopping trip)
- it's cold today, high of around 27 degrees F, so will be keeping the wood stove cranking out the heat today/tonight
- will run the washing machine late this afternoon
Rick and his mom are going to church this morning.
- While he's gone, I'm going to start in on some laundry and change the bed sheets and vacuum about the house a bit. Do a quick Swiffer in the living room as I'll be doing a good cleaning this coming Friday to get ready for everybody coming for dinner next Sunday.

- Work in the basement a bit, doing some straightening-up tasks. Recycling is next Saturday.
- And tonight I need a manicure (It's my Sunday evening thing. I take a nice shower, deep condition my hair, slather on body lotion, do my nails, let them dry a bit and then go to bed with Mollipop and relax with my Nook.)
