AbbysMom I am so basic. I hate to ask this but what is guacamole.

I have been craving pineapple pie. I eat gluten free, so I had to figure out a pie crust. I found a gluten free graham cracker crust in our local Food Lion and made the pie. I shared some with my hubby, but he says I get to what is left now because he doesn't want to deprive me. He can eat anything. I try to make every bite last. :lol3:

Guacamole is a dip made with at a minimum mashed avocado, lime juice and hot sauce.  People usually add onion, chopped tomato, some spices associated with Tex Mex like cumin.  I am not a big lover of avocado so I am not a big lover of guacamole.

You know, it's weird. I do not like avocado at all. I can't sit down and eat a sandwich with sliced avocado in it or even eat one slice of it. It must be a texture thing. But give me a bowl of guac and I'll be your friend forever and ever.

Yes, I add Chiles, onion, tomato, cilantro, lime juice, etc.

Still craving it, but the avocados I bought are still hard as a rock.

Now that the guacamole has been made I am going to move on to craving pizza.

Still want Pad Thai. We are running a little low on money this month after fixing the van, buying a new tv and getting my tooth out yesterday so the pad Thai craving will have to wait.

In the details, it even says you can skip the fish sauce if your local grocery store doesn't carry it, and that while "real" Thai noodles are better you can substitute linguine.

I think I could go for a white cake with a white frosting.  (I should make some cupcakes.....but then I'd eat them!)

For the past few hours I've been debating whether to make some chocolate pudding. Hubby is watching his weight (though he doesn't need to) and will complain if I do, and I know I won't eat it all myself.

cookies, not any specific kind. so i went and looked at my containers of pre-measured dry ingredients for baked goods recipes, and found i've got a container for an oatmeal peanut butter cookies recipe. sounds good enough to me, so i'll make that recipe in a few days.

Back to guacamole. I'm going to have to see if my avocados have softened up. :lol3:

I want a really good sandwich. No specific kind, just a good one. There's a restaurant here that makes an amazing sandwich with chicken, bacon, cheese, lettuce and chipotle mayo on a grilled flat bread.   It's supposed to have tomatoes too, but I don't like tomatoes on sandwiches it just makes them mushy.

An Italian sandwich sounds really good!

I want a big juicy steak, loaded baked potato and corn on the cob with a glass of wine. I wouldn't be able to eat the steak or corn right now though.

I like to mix chocolate chips with pecans, a few almonds, and dried cranberries. Maybe a few white chocolate chips into the mix, too. That's what I'm hungry for right now. I really wanted some last night while I was reading my Nook.

When I caught myself opening the cabinet door to get the chocolate chips out, I smacked my hand and went to bed without the Nook. Watched the X-Files til I fell asleep.

i'm thinking i'll make a batch of oatmeal, possibly oatmeal raisin, cookies in a couple days. while i was shopping this past saturday, i saw some cookies that looked good (actually choc chip, though i don't eat chocolate) and the thought of cookies has passed through my mind occasionally since then.
