Someone sent home fruitcake with my husband. He enjoyed every bit of it because I eat gluten free. But I can't forget about it because I love fruitcake. I need to find a gluten free recipe to make my own.

My husband mentioned thai food this morning and that sounds pretty good!
I was watching Cook's Country last night on the CREATE channel and they were hawking their magazine. There was a picture of a lemon refrigerator pie on the cover; I've made that pie and it's really good. And I've been thinking about that lemon refrigerator pie now....sure could use a piece!
Oh that does sound good. Pad Thai and crispy spring rolls.

I bought the ingredients today. :lol3:
I have been wanting a really good grilled New York strip medium rare and a real baked potato. A baked potato done in a conventional oven without the aluminum foil wrap just a thin coat of vegetable oil. I love the way the skin gets when it's done that way and I think the potato is better because it's really baked rather than steamed.
And I'm on my way!I bought the ingredients today.
