My 15 yr old(love of my life) seems to have fully recovered from a bad URI.  I'm happy that we found a new vet clinic, too.  His labs looked good as well and we're heading to an internal medicine specialist next week for a look at his heart.

My SO just received another final grade(there was a delay; he was very stressed) and now has a 4.0.

I'll be starting physical therapy again soon at a place that comes highly recommended.

There are vegan chocolates coming in the mail.

It's -8 outside (with a -22 windchill) and I'm inside with a cozy new robe(gift from my mom) and said 15 yr old cat upon my lap.

(Nice to focus on the positive after some very difficult times recently)

Malte seems to be doing much better! (my cat with renal failure)

I got a cat back that sadly went to a bad home last year.

I've made a great new friend! My cats love her and I trust their judgement. She's a really sweet person.

My health is at least somewhat good. (which is the best I could hope for

Medieval times is such a great time! Do you get a special kids meal for them or do you share with her? It's hard for some adults to eat the whole meal, much less a little kid.

A positive thing here is that my blind little lovie has been less spooked lately. I'm very glad she's adapting well.

She's under 3 so she is free. She will eat off my plate. My husband and I both won tickets and we are taking my mom and sister who have never been.

Here's something positive....I got a good picture of the 2 of them today.

How exciting! I went for the first time a couple months ago, a friend had won free tickets from his work and I live in the city so I got to tag along.

That is such a sweet picture too!

We went just after Aimee was born 2 years ago. My husband won tickets then too and it was a nice distraction from being in the neonatal icu with her every day. Now shes 2 and able to come with us.

That's a great picture!

I'm in a bit of a funk honestly, but something positive is that it seems like my husband's job is more stable than we thought. :cross:

A feral kitten I've been trying to get to make up with me finally "thawed" a little and played ball for about 10 minutes. We've had her at the shelter for two months and have made very little progress, so that was a small victory. :D

what's medieval times?
It's a dinner and show. Knights, horses, etc and you eat with your hands. The knights compete and one of them wins. It's a lot of fun but very expensive. $65 for an adult, $45 for kids over 3. Plus I think parking is $20. Thankfully we are getting in free.

That's fun. We went to a Medieval Times when we were in Florida many years ago (back in the mid-80s). We enjoyed watching the jousting and the dinner was actually pretty good.

That sounds wonderful especially getting in for free. I want to know all about it especially what you ate.
