Happy New Year Everyone


I get the pleasure of posting the very first question of the year :lol3:

Did you do anything ( no matter how big or small ) in 2014 that you have never done before ?

Is it bad that I know I did, but nothing is coming to mind right now? I think I'll have some more coffee. :lol3:

Honestly, Karen, I rather feel the same way. I can't think of anything in particular. 

We went to Vermont for the first time....would that count?

Can't recall anything other than using an automated passport control kiosk at Atlanta airport for the first time.

That counts :nod: - it doesn't matter what it is as long as you have never done it before :lol3:

Carried a baby full term. The only thing I really did in 2014 was have a baby and move but we certainly have done our share of moving.

Hm... we adopted Kismet - she's my first cat, and the first animal I've adopted..? That's the only thing I can think of.

Visited my 57 year old sister in jail.  Never thought I'd be doing that!

Same. I can't think of any. It's like my life in 2014 was risk-free and on autopilot. 

I started going to college after being out of school for a decade, that was exciting. Now I just have to keep at it until I'm finished in who knows how many years. lol

The year flashed by so quickly I didn't have time to do anything.

Lots of things.

I went to North America for the first time.

I became a home owner for the first time.

I saw a real live wild bear for the first time. (I then decided to change my schedule and go for a run in the middle of the day, rather than the early evening.)

I'm sure there were other things too, but that's all that comes to mind for now.
