Hope you don't mind, I've advertised this thread on my FaceBook pages
Thank you! I definitely want to get the word out about the fundraiser!

Absolutely! I'm away from my computer so unless one of the mods beats me to it, l'll add the products as soon as I'm back!

We've reached $160!!

That's a lot of cat food and litter for some shelter. Thank you so much everyone!

We're only halfway through the month, so let's keep reviewing!

Here's something everyone can do right now -

Send out an email to at least three of your friends who have cats and ask them to review two products each! Send them to this link -

I tried to put this in the review section but it is not allowing me to post there.

I was excited to get this window seat for Harley. I'm currently setting up his play area and decided to put this seat above the highest level of his cat tree so he could jump up there and look out the window. Great idea but unfortunately it didn't work out. Apparently they work for other people, so maybe mine was faulty.

First of all, it stinks! The cheap plastic cover has a chemical smell that would frighten away a human, let alone a cats sensitive nose. It also comes with deep creases which need to be ironed out. Putting it together you soon realise how flimsy it is. The cover doesn't even have any Velcro or buttons so there's a flap that just hangs down and causes the seat to sag.

It also came with NO instructions at all so I had to search online, and eventually found some. It also doesn't come with the cushion so the cheap material is slippery and wouldn't be comfy for a cat. The advert states that it can hold two cats, or a whole stack of bricks, but mine wouldn't even stay up on its own. The window is a double glazed sliding door only a year old. I thoroughly cleaned the glass, there was not a speck of dust on it. I also soaked the suction caps for 5 mins and washed them too. It would stick for a maximum of 15 minutes then would come unstuck.

I'm only thankful I tried this product out before my kitten went anywhere near it. Now I've researched it, there are other reviews (lots of them) where cats have been injured through this product falling down. Also times when cats have been nearly strangled by the cords. The cord is cheap plastic, not wire like in some of the photos so cats could chew through them. Basically, this product is an accident waiting to happen and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. It's already in the bin. I'm glad I didn't pay $40 in the pet shop, managed to find it for $20 on eBay, but that's still $20 wasted.

Does anyone else use these? Do they work for other people? Shame it didn't work for me because it's a good idea.

We've just passed the $170 milestone! I think this is awesome!

If you can't think of something else to review today, get others to review too! Tell your Facebook buddies or other friends about the fundraiser and ask them to join and add two or three reviews of their own!
