My cat Max has had issues with peeing on the house for a couple of years, he was diagnosed with urinary crystals and ever since then I have been on a search for a cure.  Well, I found it through much up and down.

It's d-mannose, it's the sugar in cranberries, you can buy it online lots of places, just google it.

When I give this to Max, dissolved in water and added to his wet food he has no problem, stops peeing on the house and is fine, when I take him off it after a short while we go back to peeing on the house.  D-mannose is harmless, I can't tell you how much to give your cat, read about it on the web.  Google d-mannose for cats, lots of articles.

Peace and happiness at my house.

I am glad to hear you have found success with this method.

As a general note to others who may have cats also experiencing trouble with urination:

No online advice can replace direct veterinary intervention. If you suspect that your cat may be ill, please contact your vet immediately. You are welcome to look for advice in the health forum while waiting for that appointment, but never delay proper veterinary care waiting for Internet advice. Remember that cats, and especially kittens, are very adept in keeping pain to themselves and delaying treatment may cause irreversible damage.

Information given by posters here are not based on your pet’s full history, and are by people who most likely do not have a degree in veterinary medicine. There are many home remedies, as well as approved veterinary treatments for cat health problems that may work for one cat, but be lethal for another cat. Please discuss any potential treatments with your vet first to ensure you are treating the right problem, and not potentially making it worse.

Cranberries are often used by humans too as a supplement for urinary health, and you can buy cat treats that contain cranberries, though my cats have never liked them. But if you suspect your cat has urinary problems it is best to see a vet first, as antibiotics may be necessary to clear the infection. There are different types of infection, that often only a urine analysis can determine, so home treatment may be ineffective and even dangerous.

I'm glad it helped. Keep in mind some cats need a special diet, extra water, antidepressants or antibiotics... some cats need drugs to prevent spasms...

All individuals respond to medication differently.
