Hello,
Could someone who uses colloidal silver topically, e.g., for ringworm, recommend a brand and strength?
Thanks!

I can't help you with colloidal silver but I would urge you to supplement that with a known and safe anti-fungal ointment like Lotrimin which is specific for ringworm and safe used topically. If you use it where a cat might lick it, just rub it in well using latex or non-latex gloves.

There are a lot of fans of colloidal silver on TCS so i'm surprised you didn't get more replies. Here is a link to a thread on the subject generally. http://www.thecatsite.com/t/246886/colloidal-silver
Thank you for the note. My cat doesn't actually have ringworm. Based on a number of posts on this forum, colloidal silver sounded like a useful solution to have around in addition to more conventional medications. I wouldn't rely on it as the first course of action, as you have correctly recommended.
