Better safe than sorry!  It would be better to call and get their advice than have it turn worse.  Hopefully it's just something very minor!
I know my vets office is great about phone calls.

Definately call the vet - I have called mine over loads of things (bet they really hate it when I call) but they are all animal lovers so understand the terror you go through when something doesnt seem right

I hope so too.  this be my 1st  female cats as well 1st cats I had in few years.  so I am freaking out a little there both REALLY happy and hoping about my home lol even with the lumps. What I fear and its sad I have to say it is that I get a vet bill.  all my free money has gone into my lovely lady's and I will put more but atm if I do its starting to cut into bills of my.  oh well I will give my local vet a call. lol I eat can food for a week or two LOL not the cat's food :p

Vets normally don't charge for a call. And they can tell you what to look for to see if it's infected or not. Some swelling is normal as the inside stitches dissolve, but pus usually means an infection. Hopefully it was just a bit of discharge and nothing to worry about! :vibes:
