Another sick cat - the third

I lost one male to oral cancer. Just a few weeks ago, I lost another to kidney disease. A routine exam today shows another male with beginnings of kidney disease. I am just beside myself. The fourth male had a blood clot in the aorta and can hardly walk, is at high risk for another clot.

This is all happening at once, and I am just knocked out by it, so sad, not understanding why all the males are going so fast.

I'm sorry for your loss and problems.

I know this will not make YOU feel any better. If your three males were very close, it is quite possible that they are grieving, thus likely depressed and their bodies are under stress. Just as in humans, stress can and does bring on illnesses to cats and dogs. I have experienced this myself.

I'm very sorry... I came on here to look up some info on my kitten's illness and found your post. It's been so hard on me emotionally to have one ill kitten, so my heart really feels heavy for you. Hugggs...
