Please help

Hi
 and welcome to TCS.

it's very hard to say, skin conditions are even often hard for vets to diagnose and we're not vets.  Vets have like a 500 page book just on skin conditions.  Having said that:

- When did it develop?

- Is it in any other place?

- Does s/he scratch it?

- Does s/he go outside?

- Are there other cats in the home?

Just noticed it today I had found him on the streets, and took him in and had him vet checked and he received a few of his shots. He's only 4 months old.

Congrats on rescuing him!!!  It could be a minor wound healing, like from a scratch or an insect bite.  Are you in a warm climate with insects? It might even be a normal "bump" for him.  It does not appear typical for ringworm.  If it spreads, gets bigger, if another develops or it starts to look like its getting infected (red, tender etc) then a vet visit is definitely in order.

In the meantime time you could gently press on it to see if it hurts (if yes, vet visit).  And you could in theory apply a basic OTC antibiotic ointment daily to see if that helps, especially if it doesn't get better on its own.

The other ear doesn't have the same bump correct?

No other bumps/scabs, would an Anti itch cream work ? Or Polysporin? Could have been from play fighting with our other kitten. Live in Canada no bugs that I know of in the winter.

Well no need for anti itch cream if she isn't scratching it, and generally you want to be careful with anti itch creams with cats, avoid..  I would observe for a few days, possibly add an anti bacterial cream, but chances are it isn't much of anything.  If it is something, it will either get worse or spread (or fail to go away).  If you have observed play fighting with your other cat that would be a good explanation.

Consider giving it a week and then re-evaluate but if you are at all concerned contact a vet.
