I'm new here and not sure where or how to post. But I took my cat Dom to the vet last week for sneezing and she said he has an upper respiratory infection. He finished his antibiotics yesterday and now he has a greenish yellowish mucus coming from his eye. It also looks like he can't open it all the way

Sounds like he may need a further course of antibiotics. Have you called the vet to let them know about his eye? Could be a flare-up of feline herpes, that will show up in their eyes like that.

First he should be seen by a vet, he probably needs another round of antibiotics or something a little stronger.

But this stuff is the bee knees for eye infections -

It's available over the counter. Check around at specialty pet stores or feed stores. A couple days of that and they'll clear right up!  (Your vet might also have it)

Often my vet has me use it along with antibiotics. I also use Terramycin when my new foster babies come in with goopey eyes, 9 out of 10 times it clears up and we don't have to go to vet for it.

I'd also start him l-lysine supplements in case it's herpes and if it's not it won't hurt.

Eye infections can take a long time to clear, and often two or three different antibiotics need to be tried to find the right one(s). It took 6 months and an eye culture to work out a combination of antibiotics to cure my Bluebelle at this time last year. She had two different infections at the same time.
