Message from Kev

I just got an email from Kev who asked me to post this picture for him that he received in an email.

He wanted to say this:

Can you post this photo to TCS for me - I was sent it today and it made me smile. Its that cats facial expression that does it.

I am still looking in on TCS but am still struggling to come to terms following my mates suicide. Find it hard to post a response to someones comments when my world is a little upside down at the moment.

Kev, just to let you know that we care for you and I hope you can come back and post soon, you are missed!

Kev, this is a situation that is extremely difficult to deal with. One of my students (manic-depressive) committed suicide seven years ago. I still feel as if I should have been able to do something to prevent his self-destruction. I did my best, and I'm sure his family and friends did everything in their power. There are some scenarios in life where no matter what you do, it doesn't make one iota of difference. That's no consolation, but there are some things we are simply powerless to change. Don't torture yourself.

Kev. Thanks for emailing Kellye and telling us that you're okay. I just want you to know that we care about you and that we are always here for you. Come and talk to us if you want to. Lots of hugs.

Kev , I know it is hard to lose a friend like that . But there is nothing you could have done to save him in any way . The best thing for you would be to focus on the good things in life and your family . I am sure your friend did not wanted you to go into that depressed stage you are in right now . I know that he wanted you to be happy in life . Please do the things you like doing most and lift yourself up again , enjoy life and be happy again . Thank you for that cute picture , it made me smile . I miss you and your postings here . Please come back

Kev, I feel so terrible to hear about your friend, I did not know about it! I don't know if you posted about it here somewhere or not, but if so I am so sorry I didn't see it. We care about you and hope to see you back soon. You are in my thoughts and prayers. *HUGS*

hey kellye, thanks for posting it up... kev sent me a PM too to tell me about the funeral.. from the PM, i could see that he's trying to come to terms with it... the family's taking it really badly. Just hope that Kev is gonna be ok. I miss him....
