Good morning (or evening) everyone!

It's the last Sunday of 2014, so --

What do you feel your biggest accomplishment of 2014 was?

Quitting my job of 32 years, after thinking about it and being urged by my husband to do so for about two years. My "early retirement" (volunteer work at the local animal shelter) is a lot busier and more fulfilling than I'd expected.

I had a decent (albeit mind-numbingly boring) job with a good company, and after much time and effort spent trying to get ahead internally, I went for an external position with a different company.  Thought it might have been slightly out of my reach, but figured I'd shoot for the moon in any case.  And guess what?  I landed.  I start the new job on January 5.  I took a chance and it paid off.  :)

That sounds like a wonderful accomplishment.

Congratulations!  Great way to start the new year.

Putting up a fence that is almost cat-proof and managing to move the colony to a safe place.

19 of the 20 cats are still here and even though I worry about Spike, the one who decided to take off into the woods, I know she's the one who was most capable of taking care of herself.

I managed to carry my son full term. I know to most people that is normal and not an accomplishment but it was for me. My 2 year old was born over 10 weeks early, my 2 month old was born just 8 days before my due date. He was a normal size and is growing really well. My daughter is still tiny for her age and was born at just 2 pounds.

That is quite an accomplishment!  Especially sweet after such a scary first experience!  Pregnancy is easy for some women.  I've had complications with both but they could have been MUCH worse; and that was enough for me to appreciate it when things go right.

For myself; I am very proud that i learned to make and can pickles and pickled peppers.  My cousin's daughter wants to to learn to make sauerkraut and mail her some next year.
