My elderly cat is blind I am told as well as having kidney disease and hypertension

or high blood pressue. I am very distressed especially when I hear her loud yowling all

day long and night. I have 2 meds to give her. She will only eat my food like

ham slices/ It's awful. I have tried different foods.

Does anyone have experience with a blind cat? How do you cope with it?

I have a blind cat but she's blind from birth and well adapted to it.  But we talk to her a lot and provide various types of sound stimulation.  Perhaps you could try that too.  And given that you have a very specific behavioral issue, you might want to do a consult with the Cornell School of Vet medicine which offers behavior counseling.  See this link: http://www.vet.cornell.edu/FHC/health_resources/camuti_service.cfm
